Employing Interdependence

This chapter talked about being indepedent but also still being able to work well in a group and not fer asking others for help or for their advice. When i was in high school i hated, and i mean hated asking for help. I just couldn't bring myself to get the words out. If i was stuggling with something i would just wait and wait until i was in a deep enough hole, then i would ask for help. If i had been able to do in high school what i do here at TC3, things would have gone much smoother. Now i don't mind going to a friend, roommate or instructor and asking them for help. I have also been to the Baker Center when my Math work just didn't make any sense at all. Being able to do things on your own is good, it gives you a slef esteem boost and you can go through the rest of your day feeling pretty good about yourself. But knowing when to ask for help and knowing when to listen to those around you is much better than going it alone all of the time.
